Unexpected Beginnings:

Humilevskyi’s background might surprise some. He holds degrees in engineering and economics, and for many years, thrived as a senior manager in an agrarian company. However, his creative side simmered beneath the surface. Drawn to artistic expression since childhood, he found outlets in body painting, music, and poetry.

A Leap into Photography:

In 2019, Humilevskyi took a pivotal step. He enrolled in a course on artistic photography, igniting a passion that would reshape his life. This newfound enthusiasm coincided with a global shift – the COVID-19 lockdowns. Confined to his home, Humilevskyi embarked on a powerful self-portrait project titled “Giant.”

“Giant” is a series of nude self-portraits that explores themes of vulnerability and self-discovery. The images depict Humilevskyi’s large physique juxtaposed with domestic settings, creating a sense of both awkwardness and intimacy.
